Wouldn't bother me. I still can't get over how much this sucks for our women's basketball team though.

I think all sporting events, including the Derby and college football are done for this year.

Nobody gives a frick about the Derby. They could eliminate it forever and about 2% of the population would care at all.

Why would they do this. If any sport could continue during this pandemic it would be baseball - there is very very little contact in baseball. Just play the damn games and televise them.

It’s not just the game. It’s the bus rides and locker rooms and stretching, etc. just because baseball isn’t a contact sport is irrelevant.

This. After two weeks of boredom, America is going to be clamoring for distractions. Baseball and golf could be played strictly for the TV cameras and provide a much needed distraction, if the lockdown continues. Baseball players aren't going to go home and sit around in isolation if baseball games aren't being played.
