Tuberville was going to get fired

Not necessarily. He resigned when boosters violated the terms of his contract again.

It doesn't, I'm just pointing out a common misconception.

His last game and final season were an absolute shite show. Much like 2012 with Chizik

Nothing in my 30 years as an Auburn fan were as bad as 2012. Tuberville fricked-up making a wholesale change in the offense without considering the fallout with that and his coaches. Plus he didn't even try to match Saban in recruiting and don't think he had the desire too.

Ol’ Tubbs sure liked those boosters when they were helping him frick Ole Missus though, didn’t he?

I still maintain that Auburn’s 2008 recruiting class is the worst I’ve ever seen (from Auburn). Pitiful.
