2006 was a good year for the league. There were six current SEC programs that made the Second Round. Two made the Final Four.
2007 was the real turning point for the league it seems.... Outside of South Carolina and Auburn each making a strong one-season presence, only three programs have done anything significant: Kentucky, Florida, and Tennessee
That's my point.
