My point is you can’t pick and choose which sports figures are allowed to be political and which aren’t. Either you’re fine with politics being in sports or you’re not. Picking and choosing based on if they agree with you or not makes you look like a dumbas

Well i pick and choose
If an athlete or coach comes out with left leaning remarks. I don’t like it and want them to shut up
When they come out with right leaning ones. I don’t mind it at all and I’m fine with their remarks

Leach is a dumb arse for getting political. He just offended Mormons and lefties won't like it. I LOVE it, personally, bc Im an anarchist and no Piss State fan- Im here for the chaos and the memes, Baby. Point is, Trumptarding it aint gonna help recruiting , dumbass. And even in deeply red Pississippi, you'll alienate fans.

It was a yuge hire. We hire only the best.
We will win bigly. Everyone else made zero energy loser hires. Sad that the rest of the SEC has turned into a bunch of betas. Now Millions maybe even Billions will be watching State. We are the best. Low energy Saban will is on the downfall. No more winning for him. #Covefefe

Leach is a private citizen who is entitled to an opinion. Without knowing the context, I generally don't have a problem with someone expressing an opinion.

Now, if that comment/opinion turns into an agenda that's pushed at every opportunity; that's when I have issue with it. That's what ESPN has done.

Leach is a private citizen and ESPN is a private company. Be consistent. Both can talk any politics they want but it’s all annoying

Remember when ESPN got political and everybody freaked?

Be consistent people. Keep politics out of sports.

Did Mike Leach say this during a school press conference or did he tweet this on his own time?

There's the difference.

He is? That why he ran for president as the GOP nominee and got 60 million votes?

1) That election was 8 years ago. A lot has changed since then.

2) You can be the GOP nominee and still be hated by Republicans. Look at Donald Trump.

Y’all are really reaching for differences when there are none. All of ESPNs political stuff is “on their own time” and not at a school press conference so try again.

Don’t like that as an example? A lot of the times LeBron got political was on twitter. So please explain the difference there.
