If that happens those handoffs won't matter.

A player is NFL draft eligible after his class completes their 3rd year of college, not their 3rd year of playing.

Johnny Manziel and Jameis Winston were both redshirted and then went pro after their second seasons on the field.

If that happens those handoffs won't matter.


it would absolutely matter if he's good enough to be the starting quarterback but, like Najee Harris, wants to improve his NFL status with one more year.

The hand offs in that 5th game cost him a year's eligibility. We can try to spin it away but it's a fact.
