I hate to say this but when SC basketball whether it be men’s or women’s has been its best, it pulled players from up north.

Yes you have a few SC stars that played Ex. Aja Wilson. Alex English

But both Mcguire and Dawn had/have the relationships to pull the best the north has to offer, and that was the difference

This is factually incorrect.


Actually since McGuire our most successful basketball seasons our team was led by stars from this state. Martins inability to secure commitments from instate players have led to his downfall. Our FF team was led by instate players.

The womens program turned the corner with instate players.
