Morris started 8 QB's in 1 1/2 years. Our QB's suck.

As of right now, KJ Jefferson is likely the starter. He'll be a RS Freshman who was a pretty highly rated dual threat QB.

We also are in the running for 4* Malik Hornsby.

Other than KJ, all we really have is Jerry Jones' grandson John Stephen Jones.

Is Arkansas his best shot?

I’ve only seen a bit of him but in my recollection he looked to be in no position to play. He seemed somewhat lost, struggled to pass well, and was a break out and run for it guy. He looked incredibly raw. I think he needs a lot more preparation and seasoning before you count on him to be a qb in the sec.

Franks is a seasoned, experienced qb who, while not a game changing qb, is alright. I see no reason to not bring him in to play. Next year is obviously a transition year as Arkansas tries to begin its climb up from rock bottom. Why not use Franks in that time and bring the other guy along slowly. No need to throw the young qb to the wolves.
