Another forgotten gem from that wild couple of weeks: right after the allegations surfaced, but before the Bama admins took action, Paul Finebaum interviewed Drew Bledsoe's dad, who was good friends with Price.
It started out with the elder Bledsoe defending Price's character and saying that the allegations were false, or at least wildly exaggerated - but then devolved into Finebaum presenting him with evidence about credit card receipts and eyewitnesses to Price's behavior, at which point Bledsoe blamed it on the provincial attitudes of Southerners, and admitting that everyone in Pullman knew Price had a drinking problem and was a bit of a womanizer, but they were okay with it.
Even Finebaum was speechless. Most outrageous interview I ever heard on his show
