We like to get on Cohen for some of his decisions, but one thing that I always liked about Cohen is he has always had an accurate finger on the pulse of our university. He knew whoever he would hire was going to keep us where we've been historically for the past decade; a 7-8 win program every year. Except, this time he knew the program needed a shot of adrenaline after a lull with Joe for 2 years. He did exactly that and was willing to pony up the money. Props to him for seeing that Joe was not the long term solution. And props to him for putting himself 2nd to the best interest of our program.
I'm interested in seeing how he handles Howland from here on out. If we miss the tournament with our roster; it might be time to put some feelers out on the state of our basketball program.

Leach was a brilliant hire because while I don’t think he gets us a championship he should keep us around 7-9 wins and maybe one or two special seasons. And he is 58 so doubt he bolts for another program. And the fan base is excited so I think people will be more patient with Leach. We just didn’t like Moorhead and his arrogance and that lost him a ton of support. You can only be like that if you win like Saban does
