How does that article change 50-7 and 1-8?

LSU Football hasn’t always been managed as well and still is decisively more successful than A&M that has made so many “home run” off the field moves.

You are who you are.

Does he watch the football team play when he's in the stadium? Seems like a stupid and distracting time to make decisions about the program's future.

I think Woodward had a blank checkbook at A&M and the fanbase/boosters were clear that you guys wanted Jimbo and he made it happen.

The best part was Jimbo gushing about Woody and how he always wanted to work with him again, only for Scott to pull the fake "psych!" handshake on him by leaving town.

Texas A&M will never be a top 5 team. It doesn't matter who the coach is.

Interesting that Alleva think Woodward was stupid enough to hire someone whom he knew

No where is that even implied. It could be the case that Woodward was directed by the aggie power structure (and I use the term "power" very loosely) directed Woodward to get Fisher at any cost - which he did.

Why are they meeting about this DURING a game???

Because our school president (currently on his way to Oregon State) was a coward. An actual quote from him was, “do you hear what they are saying about us on ESPN?” They say we are wrong to expect more than what Les Miles was giving us.

Then to top it off, Les Miles got a nice applause from the Tiger Stadium crowd who expected it was his last game. Other than the soccer moms who brought ignorant signs, most fans were applauding Les to thank him for the good things he had done in his tenure. But most of the LSU fan base knew it was time to move on. F King the Spineless misinterpreted that into thinking all of the LSU fan base wanted Les to stay as coach.

It was too late then. Chavis had a backup plan.

Hiring Saban > every "home run" A&M has ever made

So A&M fans said we kept Miles because we beat them that game. Actually, it was so the AD could avoid overpaying the douchenozzle that ended up going to A&M and stealing their money.

Oh yeah, 507 is the key code for the Rec room.

Looks more and more like Jimbo is best suited for working in a Bakery cleaning up creampies

Alleva also hired Will Wade. He is a genius and ungrateful LSU fans didn't deserve to have that great man as their AD.

LSU fans hated Alleva and said he was the dumbest AD on the planet.

To be fair, that was not just because of coaching hires.

Just because Alleva didn't like Jimbo doesn't make him vindicated. He still lead LSU through one of the most botched coaching hires of all time.

There were very, very few people who thought O would work out. He went all in on Herman with no back up plan, waiting till the last second, and settled for O.

Now, I'm fricking ecstatic it's all worked out the way it has and have been an adamant eater of the crow on O (and Herman). But that doesn't make what happened any less idiotic.

9-3 is most likely the ceiling for y’all with Jimbo. There may be a 10-2 sprinkled in there but that’s highly unlikely. Everyone knows this.

Yea, weird. My takeaway was that the AD that ended up being very much right on his HC hire, absolutely did not want the HC that A&M eventually hired.

Said hire is not working out thus far for A&M.

And Woodward got the guy aggy wanted. Nothing more, nothing less.
