I am still here. Talks definitely broke down between Cohen and Napier last night. My post calling out to Dellenger was basically a bat signal to see if things could be salvaged, and he confirmed they could not.

The Sarkisian stuff leaked about 30 minutes after talks broke down with Napier.

If State makes one final push this morning and agrees to the original terms that were agreed in principle this weekend (with no amendments), then Napier is still coming.

My best understanding is that talks broke down over the S&C position (and his roles), the staff salaries of 5.8 mil, and the housing allowance request of $1,000,000.

I will accept my permaban if Sark is announced, but nothing is done yet. All it will take is one phone call that agrees with what I have listed in the fourth paragraph above to close the deal.
