Why not let Tony Hughes keep the job? I mean he's the one that's bringing in all of the talent & he seems to love State.

You could throw in some bonus incentives and start him lower, but there isn't an realistic way to get there in the first year.

every top 50 coach counting incentives has the ability to make 4.5MM as of 2019

All top 30 jobs are paying $4MM a year salary or more not counting incentives
Napier is a HC not some assistant. I'm just telling you what he is going to demand. If I'm the guy 4MM is the minimum starting with up to $1MM bonus for NY6 or better and 500M for any bowl game. Pay is listed below.
