Agreed. Why make staff changes this offseason when you’re more than likely bringing in a new HC next year? Who is going to move their family to Starkville for less than a year?

My opinion (not that it means anything at all in this situation) is to rip off the bandaid. Fire Moorhead, throw a bunch of money at a Napier or P.J. Fleck type. Let them hire the staff they want with however much money it takes and let them hold this signing class together and get to recruiting/coaching.

They put a hard cap on Moorhead's budget. Hell he took a paycut the first year. Why would they just dole out a bunch of money all of the sudden? Is someone gonna write a 20 million dollar check? Or are we banking on the revenue from the new TV contract that hasn't started yet?
