A $4 million insurance policy over guaranteed money. Even if this is an LSU player it doesn't make any sense. Bama fans fail to understand if he gets hurt again, NFL owners don't draft injury prone players with high 1st round picks. Kill it with the we scared crap, its stupid. It doesn't make sense.

Your team is playing for the NC, and you start a thread about...Alabama.

Tua is trash. He is good for a few games then will get injured and sit out the rest of the year....again

If he was guaranteed to be in the first 10 picks he'd be going to the NFL.

That is kind of the point.

Some of y’all need to accept that he’s an adult who can make his own decisions.

Quit melting. Kid is fun to watch, and the SEC will be better if he returns and is cleared to play next year.

I guarantee LSU’s players respect him, but they aren’t afraid of him.

You just answered your own question. The difference i $$$ between 1st half of the 1st round, and 2nd round money is very significant, and he ain't going in the first 10 picks this year.

Here's the thing....given his injury, he likely isn't guaranteed to be a top 10 pick right now. If he was guaranteed to be a top 10 pick right now, we wouldn't be discussing whether or not he's returning to Alabama next year.

And you acknowledged the issues surrounding Tua in your own post. Teams can't even evaluate him medically right now. Like you said, teams don't typically invest top 10 money with these types of concerns about his ability to play going forward. He needs to show teams he's going to be healthy enough to play first, and I'm not sure he'll be able to do that by April.

Why are fans from other teams worried about Tua coming back ?

Wouldn't pick Tua in the first round! Great college QB with a great arm and mobility, but he's is surrounded by 5 star talent at every position and folds up like a cheap tent whenever he faces adversity on the field. Throw in the injuries and he's awfully risky for a 1st round pick.

That said I like him and I think he's a good kid. I hope he gets a 1st round grade goes pro and has an All-Pro career.
