Neither are great football coaches in the traditional sense (i.e. X's and O's) both are CEO types. Coach O does seem like a better CEO than Chizik was. I'm glad we fired him, but I feel like if Chizik could learn from his mistakes with regards to discipline, he might still be a decent coach somewhere.

Chizik’s problems came after 2010.
He got a big head and lost the respect of the players. The locker room was a mess.
I doubt O will get that way or let the players split the locker room up.

This thread & a 100 others in the rant are exactly the same. The corndogs are so busy keyboard blasting that they miss the reason they are getting picked on.
LSU is the BEST team in CFB this season, hands down. I thought OSU was and they literally got hosed by Clemson & the refs. Burrow has blown up so many records y'all ought to build the man a statue. Y'all shouldn't be worried about a let off next season or anything else. Enjoy what you have right now. I know I would.

Nope. Chizik was a Broyles Award winner and had the #1 defense in the nation as a DC. Dude knows his football. He is just not head coach material.
Also Chiz went back to North Carolina and improved that defense. The one year they went to thr ACC CG Chiz was the DC.
