4 Red Zones with no TD’s
That stupid Roughing the punter..
Maybe the worse was going 3 and out at the end of the second Qtr allowing Clemson to run a 2 minute drill and put them back in the game.
Ohio State had the lead with 3 three minutes left and allows Clemson to drive 95 yards for a TD and still had 1:49 seconds left..
Ohio State, with the 1:49 left drove the ball down the field and throw an INT to lose the game on Bad Communication....
Ohio State could have put this game out of reach had they scored TD’s in the Red Zone..
Clemson made the best adjustments and that was the difference..
If I was an Ohio State fan I would whine like a baby over the refs as well because you blew your load in the first 1.5 qtrs and had nothing left and Clemson wasn't into cuddling

Yep. Many people now think that the REC, due to Dabo's connections in the state and with the REC, had something to do with it.
The CFB deep state had already predetermined the winner

one of the big plays that turned around was the sack on Lawrence. it was a great football play turned unlucky with the targeting call. no intent, but by the rules it was targeting. it was a terrible break for tosu.
This cracks me up especially coming from my own fanbase. That was text book targeting, and Chase tomahawk chopped Lawrence on the head also could have been called. I didn't see the fumble but OSU lost that game in the first half.

I understand how everyone thinks OSU got shafted, and Clemson did get lucky on that "fumble". But holy hell OSU caught some breaks that game too.
First possession of the game we lose our WR1 and one of the top receivers in the country for the entire 1st half on a freak injury. Our WR2, Ross, was in and out the game with injuries. We dropped a sure pick 6, and dropped at least two more picks. Fields could have finished with 5 picks.
You want to say OSU let us off the hook, you could just as easily claim that we let them off the hook. That one "fumble" play has put blinders on everybody.

“The fumble reversal was a bad call and cost em 7. Imo“
Supposedly there has to be irrefutable video evidence to reverse the call on the field. There was none. There was instead Birmingham.

Refs missed a blatant PI on OSU early in the game that would have extended a drive and put us in field goal range.
Also our safety dropped an easy pick 6 early.
Clemson easily could have been up 2 scores at halftime.

There was irrefutable evidence that the WR’s momentum carried him forward and the ball was knocked out before he made a football move.
They got the call right according to the rule.
The targeting was blatant as well and they were clearly playing dirty trying to take someone out. I remember Alabama doing that a couple years ago and they got beat as well.

In real time it appeared the catch was a no-catch, therefore no fumble. That was the only "controversial" call in the game. Some no-calls but all the other calls were dead on. Heck, Ohio St had the lead with Clemson near their own goal line and let them go 90+ yards in about two minutes.
I have seen some games this year with a catch in the endzone then a strip or drop and it be called a no-catch. I don't even know what a catch is anymore if you don't hold on until the receiver hands it to the official.
Everyone wants to complain about SEC officials, have you people watched officiating from other conferences?
When Ohio St loses a close game they ALWAYS blame the officials, nothing new here. Their latest conspiracy is the SEC and ESPN did not want them in the championship game. Why? No reason is given. I would think Ohio St/LSU would have higher ratings than Clem/LSU.

LSU/OSU would have had huge ratings; I'm sure there are at least 5 OSU fans across the country for every 1 Clemson fan. Probably 10.
I get it though; sometimes people get mad and have to have a place to hang that anger. Refs are always going to be an easy place to look for that. People can convince themselves of anything if they repeat it enough.

I would expect you to say this.
Now answer this question honestly: Same situation, except it's at the boundary and he runs out of bounds. Completed pass? If you are objective, you would say yes.
But I don't expect you to be in this situation.

With all the "shooting in the feet" that Ohio State did to itself, no breaks, and poor officiating, it all boiled down to the last minute of the game. Olave runs his normal route and doesn't fall....they win. They would have probably won anyway since there was ample time on the clock to score, and they were sitting pretty... Total misfortune, but it was still a classic game.

Yeah, it was a good game.
I will just never have any sympathy for Ohio State. I don't think this loss was soul-crushing enough. And Clemson is way overrated. LSU -5.5 is the easiest money of the year. I'm going to cash in the kids' college fund and put it all on LSU to cover.
