I really don't know many LSU fans who are triggered by it. It's so silly you can't help but laugh especially considering the number of different foods LSU fans actually cook that could have been used.

If you walk around campus on a game day tailgates will have corndogs just because of this. I don't know any LSU fans that are "triggered" by being called corndogs.

Hmmm...yet there has never been any evidence of this. Just LSU fans making it up because they got upset. It wasnt an "Auburn Columnist" either. This is on par with the thousands of LSU fans who saw the players smoking cigars on the field in person...

Even though this has mostly been a corner of the internet thing (a lot of LSU fans IRL would have no idea what you’re talking about), I feel like I’m more likely to see a corn dog since this started, and I have to say, I do like them. So we could go with this theory.

Yep, just a quick Google search leads me to think that an Auburn poster started it on tRant, but who knows where it first got pinned on LSU?
