40 years ago was 1979. As late as 1975, we were too small of a school to even get a home-and-home with LSU, so we played in Baton Rouge every year.

Facts have always been the Achilles heel for the cow college crowd.

In 1979 TAMU had 31,000 students... it would be 2002 before LSU enrolled 31,000 students.
