It definitely felt like a strange move for both sides initially, but I don't think y'all are as out of place as others who switched conferences (Rutgers, Maryland, WVU, ND's agreement with the ACC).

Frankly, I respect the hell out of your admins to have the foresight and ambition to pursue a place in the SEC. The realignment train was coming, and there was no guarantee it would ever come back around to Mizzou again if you didn't jump on when you did.

It sucks for all fans of college football that traditional rivalries and conferences have dissolved over the years, but in the last inevitable round of expansion, the SEC could've done much worse than Mizzou IMO.
