Time flies. I’ll be the first to admit that it doesn’t feel like it’s been 12 years since LSU’s national championship. I remember the game vividly. But it was 12 years ago.

At this point, it’s time for LSU to go out and win another one. Get it!

When you pump your chests out so hard about something that happened 12 years ago, you’re in the danger zone. Like a 30 year old still living with their mom bragging about how cool they were in high school.

Bottom line is that LSU fans are starting to cling too hard.

To any recruit, 2007 doesn’t mean jackshit. Not much more than 1980, truthfully. Both were so long ago they can’t remember.

So, let’s go win another national title, Tiger Nation... And in the mean time, stop clinging so hard and stop holding on.
