What if I told you that even if we had kept him every WR currently on the roster including piss boy was trying to enter the portal anyway? Obviously we could hire an inferior coach but somehow I think it’ll be hard to do worse than a mediocre at best offensive line coach.

I'd say it's harder to do worse too unless you go after Chad Morris.

Well that changes things, if you got players wanting to bolt, unsuccessful coach, problems in the locker room stuff like that I would tend to agree with. Like I said from an outsider who saw you just play two games it would seem to me you give him two years off of sanctions to see what he could do. But again I don’t know all the back stories and only watched two games. Be glad to listen to you’re reasoning.

I get your point, but it’s like I said — look around at recent hires. With the exception of maybe 3 dudes who are not going anywhere, it’s pretty difficult to predict how these things are gonna work out sometimes.

IMO if you are in a bad spot like Ole Miss was, and you are not a blue-blood type program... you need some incremental improvement before you try to land your big fish who will magically turn everything around in less than two years...

You are not the program that’s going to pull Urban Myer out of broadcasting back into CFB.
