Woodward did what he was told by the boosters and the Circle-- he hired Jimbo. I'd have left that dumpster fire too, if i were him.

Both can be true. Alleva had problems at LSU but he was smarter than given credit for. He was a snake who nobody liked, corporate shill with no people skills, but he wasn't a fool.
