Building a winning program requires a lot of work to change the recruits attitude where to play ball. As State has been successful in baseball, it comes easier to stay the course. Woman's basketball is there also. Basketball has improved greatly under Howland, but yet to reach the that level. Football? No where close. I think that Mullen was on the crisp, but we will never know. Moorhead.....ah, no confidence in him doing that.

Man.. You guys are letting a 6-6 season blind you. He is absolutely raising the bar. Go to your AD board and just read.

- 1st ever signed 5 star OLman. Do you know why we got Lashley from you? Mullen. It's known he gave up on recruits and walked away from that one.

- Do you know why you don't have WRs? Mullen. He had a QB and the #1 team for 5 weeks and he couldn't recruit wrs. As a result, you dropped from passing it with Dak for 3,800 yards to not passing it but for 1750.

Those 2 things are the issue for you right now. And that's left over from Mullen era. Now you are going to say.. "but we had a few NFL OL". And I'm going to say, not for Moorhead. Those guys were horrible at pass blocking before Moorhead got there.

Now you have a 5 star OT, a 4 Star OT, and I think you are going to end up with 2 more 4 star OGs.

Now you need some WRs. He has developed Mitchell. But Mitchell is not enough.

When you went #1, it was because you could run with a QB and a RB because you could pass it.

Look at it from the NCAA stat book. Ranked 21st and 22nd.

You may have wanted and easy fix, but Ms ST has not been what you want it to be since that #1 year due to inconsistencies in recruiting.

For proof of that:
- The very next year you drop from 21st in rushing to 100th. Roster issue. That's recruiting.

- He fixed the running issue, but failed the WR and the QB recruiting... so the next year you ran it effectively, but could not pass it. dropped from 19th to 89th. That's recruiting.

- And the biggest proof of all was the build up of the defense last year that's all gone this year left with playing freshmen.
