Venting about a shite football game isn’t the same as melting. I melted after sprint right interception in 2012 against A&M.

Tonight I am disappointed in the players, specifically the players on defense, the players that miss field goals that high schoolers routinely make, the players that jump offsides multiple times per game, and the players that don’t have a clue what they’re supposed to do at all when they’re in the game.

All of this, I’ve melted before prior Rant membership but the posts I made in our game thread wasn’t melting. It’s about expecting Alabama football from our players and coaching staff.

This game felt like a Shula or Dubose performance. No discipline, no tackling, bad game plan, and just an overall letdown to what we expect.

We expect more at Alabama and to voice that displeasure isn’t melting. The coaching staff and players should be held accountable, and if Saban is the GOAT he should make the necessary changes this offseason.

This feels like a wasted year tbh, we beat nobody and lost to the two decent teams on the schedule.

I don’t blame our best players at all if they sit out whatever bowl we get put in.

Here’s to looking at a tough but fun 2020, USC and UGA in our first 3 games, should be an improved UT in Knoxville, LSU in Baton Rouge, and a year older Bo Nix in Tuscaloosa. Anybody wanting to question Saban should wait until next year before jumping to any conclusions.

I personally think he’ll do a re-evaluation similar to post 2010 and 2013 and we’ll see a bette team.

The beatdown Bama received in last year's national championship game should have initiated that re-evaluation. Instead, we're still seeing an extremely talented but undisciplined team making the same mistakes.
