No... I was really referring to the 41-13 destruction of the B12 co champ in the Cotton Bowl by the 3rd place SECw school that year.

Tbh does LSU really recruit that much less prevalently in Texas than A&M does?

Cotton Bowl is part of the Bowl Selection process and the SEC conference doesn't control that. Your league controls the pool of six bowls (and the bowls thereafter) and assigns your league's representation in those bowls accordingly.

POOL OF SIX BOWLS:
Outback Bowl
Taxslayer Bowl
Music City Bowl
TEXAS BOWL
Belk Bowl
Liberty Bowl.

BOWLS AFTER THE POOL OF SIX:
Birmingham Bowl
Independence Bowl

What? If you're saying A&M losing would affect other recruits to big SEC schools, you're wrong, and if you're saying A&M is the golden goose for recruiting in Texas, you're also wrong.

quote:

2014 they sent Arky to play Texas.
2015 they sent LSU to play Tech.
2016 they sent aggie to play K State. Kstate has no recruiting presence anywhere, and certainly not in TX.
2017 they sent Mizzou to play Texas.
2018 they sent Vandy to play Baylor.

See the shield?

I don't understand what 'shield' you're talking about. Are you saying A&M is shielded? Because A&M hasn't even been getting the best players out of Texas in the SEC.

LSU is the favorite for Zachary Evans, who's the best recruit out of Texas this year, and that's a small sample but shows how Texas A&M isn't getting the best recruits out of Texas.

Texas A&M draws views from Texas. That's the main reason the SEC wanted to add them. Not for any weird recruiting thing.

WTF is a land thief posting on a SEC/LSU website? Oh I forgot. Y'all play in the shitty 12 that doesn't have internet access.

Gotta learn how to jump to a real conference fella. Dumping the whorns was the best thing A&M ever did.

No. We'd prefer to play and destroy an overrated Big Ten team in Florida on New Years Day like the rest of the conference gets to do.

What the frick? So you’re saying the SEC is scared to send A&M to play Texas because we’d be worried about the recruiting effect?

You realize that Georgia, LSU and Bama are cherry picking in Texas right? Why the frick would we care if 7-5 A&M can’t beat 7-5 Texas?

That's exactly what I'm saying. Do you SEC fans even know how your league controls bowl representation and who goes where? Are you even aware of that?

It's right here on your own conference website. You're the only league who does this.

LINK

"POOL OF SIX BOWLS: After the Citrus Bowl selects a team, there will be a pool of six bowls and the Conference, in consultation with the institutions and the bowls, will make the assignments for these six bowl games from all eligible SEC teams."

I don’t really have a strong opinion either way. I feel like they’re struggling internally and don’t want to give them a chance to get out of it.

We are well aware of how the SEC handles bowl selection for our teams, but it is quite a jump to say that because SEC controls selection for the six bowl games below the New Years' Six and because A&M and Texas have never played in the Texas Bowl since A&M has joined, that it must mean that the SEC is shielding A&M from Texas.

Is it?

Which bowl group does A&M typically end up in? Major Bowls or Pool of Six?

Deloss Dodd drew the line in the sand. frick them wannabe blueblood trashy sluts with their shitty program & shitty coach. LSU dodged a bullet with that chump. If A&M wanted a game with them Jimbo would rip Tommy boy's balls off. And they already know that.

I agree with dodging that bullet. He was the flavor of the month and some believed he was the next football genius. You’re right. He’s a chump.

Oklahoma beating Bama in 2013(?) was bigger than anything that a BIG 10 team could do to A&M.
