Let's say you were a high school senior in 1968.
Is it true that if you went to The University of Texas, that you could be drafted into the military while in college, but if you went to A&M, you'd receive a draft deferral while you were enrolled in their compulsory military component?

1968? As in 3 years after the Corps of Cadets became non-compulsory?
