Seems other boards on this site seem to work just fine with fans from other schools. I'm on the Ole Miss forum a lot because I work at Ole Miss - never have heard a peep. I go to Tenner and SCar's board a lot as well and never see this shite.
The folks here don't even shite talk. Why are we going out of our way to look like tRant crybabies?
Plus, at the end of the day, this is an LSU site, regardless of the overhaul several years ago. There are plenty of sites around that are functionally Gators only. One of things that makes tRant and these sub-forums interesting is rubbing elbows with other teams.
But seriously, booting polite tRanters from this board for no other reason than they aren't Gators makes us look like bunch of bitches IMO.

Thanks for writing an novel to give your opinion but mine remains that interaction between fan bases is what the SEC rant is for. The team pages should be for fans of the team plus a lot of other team boards do not allow fans from other schools to post.

Matt. I disagree. If I wanted to only have UF fans talking UF up and get mad if someone posts otherwise then I’d go to Gatorcountry or something like it.
I’ve stated my thoughts about this already. If you want to come into this forum and talk UF sports then come on. If you start trouble by getting in every topic to talk smack or be disruptive then you’re gone.

That's the point of a team board, to talk about team happenings. If we wanted updates or opinions of Rant posters, we'd post on the rant.

All you do on there is talk some terrible trash talk. You don't even try and talk football or any other sport. What's the point of that? That's why team boards are better. So you can have some actual discussion.
And AU is the only board that doesn't allow other fans on there.

Peter, I really don’t care what your opinion on the Gator board is. Every Gator on this board is welcome to their opinion, mine is that this board should be for Gator fans only. If I want to talk to mutts and other rivalsI would rather do it on the SEC rant. Just be glad I don’t run the board or you would be gone.
