Nick Saban must have A) expected to lose a game or B) knows one loss wont keep them out

Because he honestly sounds relieved that game is over in his post game press conference.

Idk, maybe?
But back to the point, he sounded pretty cool after the game. Like everything is going according to plan.

TBH he seemed rattled all week. Like he knew the team wasnt ready. Then post game he seemed to want to deflect and blame Tua. It was actually pretty pathetic.
He could have just come out and said the truth. We wanted this game badly and Tua gave us our best chance to win. He played amazing, he is a warrior we just didnt do enough as a team to get the win.
His postgame had parts of that but it was more along the lines of "not my fault" + "Tua wasnt ready to play" and it upset me considering Tua has probably been rehabbing and getting iced since Saturday night after playing one hell of a game for him.

Pretty selfish in my view. Why would he toss out an awesome QB with a gimp leg who just had surgery less than 3 weeks prior?
Selfish and it didn't even work

I didn't see him blame Tua other than for the interception at the end of the half. He called him a warrior, and he was. Saban also said that LSU's offense had "no weaknesses," which was telling, bc he has not had the defense that he's had in years past (in large part due to injuries early on). I think he wasn't blowing up on the sideline and at the presser b/c he expected to lose. He was as glowing about Burrow as I've ever heard him be about a player from another team.

This was the weirdest for me.
