I don't necessarily think that you are wrong, but at the same time, to act like Bo Nix is devoid of playmaking ability is disingenous. He made some good plays against us, sure, but he showed flashes throughout the season, under pressure no less. He threw a game winning 30+ yard TD in his first game as a college player.

And flashes are what he showed against us. He didn't dominate, or come close. I'd be more concerned if he threw for over 200 yards against us. I'd be more concerned if their kicker didn't all of a sudden start nailing 40+ yard field goals against when he's been whiffing on them all year.

It' was clearly not the dominating unit that we are accustomed to, but I don't think anyone thought that that was going to be the case anyway. I just simply disagree that the AU game is that much of a point of concern for the defense going forward.

Prevatt, you have beat that defensive stat to death. LET IT REST! You aren't going to convince anyone in the other camp that that stat wasn't a measure of playing New Mexico States and Western Carolinas. The only stat that matters to the other camp is the 2 L's to LSU and Auburn where we gave up 40+ points. And your next argument is the pick 6's. WE GET IT! But your damn vaunted defense gave up over 30 in both games. You won't ever believe the defense was bad, and my side won't ever believe the defense was good. So I'll agree to disagree if you will and quit quoting that mother fricking MEANINGLESS S&P STAT!
