Just some random and meaningless facts.

Bulldogs like to talk history in the series. Usually that history they tell has a big gap between Herschel and Knowshon, but whatever. Let’s talk history.

They’re very proud of the fact that Georgia has the lead in the all-time series of 46-37-2.

That’s nice, but they don’t tell you that a good chunk of those wins came in the leather helmet days. In college football’s modern era, which began in 1946, Florida owns the lead 33-28-1. If you’re counting along at home, that means 18 of Georgia’s wins came before the game as we know it fully crystallized.

Despite the UGA win last season, Florida has still won 15 of the last 18 in the series, a dominating streak by any standards. Bulldogs usually retort “but it’s 2-2 in the last four,” completely ignoring the fact the first of those wins came against a team whose coach was fired the week of the game. Nope, no extenuating circumstances there.

Well this is wrong. Not sure if you pulled this from a bad memory but Georgia has won 7 in the last 18 years. And 5 of the last 8. Not quite the dominant streak you hope for.

This is not true. UGA has won 5 of the 8 games played since Urban left Gainesville.

You mean games before that do not exist?

Where did you get that the modern era began in 1946?
A lot of people think 1906 ushered in the modern era. That is when the forward pass became prevalent. Others consider the rise of the conferences as the modern era.

In short, you are just picking a random year to support your drivel. You either count them all or you count the last game. Either way Florida comes out looking lacking.

Oh, and since you want to start in 1946 your figures are wrong there, too. Georgia has won 33 games starting in 1946, and Florida has 39 wins. Crap. Do I have to make the case for you, or do they not teach math in Florida?

Another swing and a miss. Georgia has won 7 of the last 18.

Or we could say we have won 5 of the last 8.

This is just utter absolute BS just like the crap your entire fanbase has been spewing about how Florida is so good since they lost to LSU by 2 TDs. You should be banned for a statement this false. Factually false and not even close. Are you some kinda idiot?
