If you'd like to move to the East, consider Asheville, Chattanooga, or Knoxville. Based on your interests, I think you'd like those cities.
For smaller options, consider Boone, NC or Blue Ridge, GA.

I guess I should have specified. Those are great choices though... except I believe blue ridge is a little too small.
I’m not moving east or south of the Rocky Mountain Range.
