downright pathetic in 2

You do realize that we racked up 468 yards of offense, while a QB threw for 295 (but we never throw the ball) and our starting RB put up 120 on the ground....

Pump the breaks. 4-0 turnover ratio lost the game and it wasn't because we were pathetic all game. Imagine that, our starting D only let up 10 points, we gave the ball away 4 times and we still racked up almost 500 yards.

Bitch that we lost, but it wasn't because we were pathetic

right. We threw 3 interceptions, one for 7 points, and fumbled while we had good field position.

stats are irrelevant, the scoreboard is all that matters and after 58 minutes of regulation we had scored 10 points. We scored 0 total points in 2 overtime periods. I would call that pretty pathetic.

I guess it depends on who the "we" is. The offensive strategy and play calling in that game was fairly pathetic. The fact that our vaunted offensive line could "impose our will" was somewhat pathetic, too.
