Houston doesn’t have any trees? Good lord, you are fricking retarded. 
Houston is by far the nicest city in the South. And yes, Southeast Texas is Southen. Not “Deep South,” but definitely Southern.
And if you want to talk about the Civil Rights movement, President Johnson says hello. Perhaps you missed those 5 years.
Georgia is a really nice state, and I have always enjoyed my time there. I’d even live there if it were an option for me. But Atlanta has problems.

Just let them think that Birmingham, atl, Bessemer, etc are all great cities. Actually you know what, Houston is a terrible place! You should never ever come here! It’s so awful. There is nothing to do, no major sports teams, no great food scene, I mean there is jack shite in Houston. Do yourself a favor and never come here.
