No clouded judgment here. But please take off the binders for a moment.
I do agree that Coach JoMo needs to improve in several areas for the football program to be better. But I think he is more than capable of doing so. In fact if our microwave fans will stay behind the program and be supportive instead of critical we are poised to do some good things in the next several years.
You do realize that CDM, whom I thought did a great job here, had to win the Egg Bowl in 2011, 2013 and 2016 just to make a bowl game. All three of those teams had some struggles along with some bright spots.
Moorhead seems to be recruiting well and he has endured a very difficult season in which some of our fans jumped off the cliff. Yes this season was disappointing, I want to win too but I would never advocate firing our coach after two seasons especially (if we win our bowl game)if we were above .500 both years. That absolutely makes no sense.
But no some of our fans want him gone and then what? If that were to happen, then I could see us sliding back to the end of Sherrill’s tenure (2002-2003)-early Croom years (2004-2005).
