I didn't realize Clemson was struggling..our offensive numbers are ahead of last year at the same time and our defense hasn't had a big fall off to graduation...

No excuse. UNC played a great game and out-coached the team. Did we do so things that helped UNC? Sure. I counted at least 6 false starts on the offensive line. That never going to help.
UNC exposed a couple of things probably not recognized by DC's in the earlier games which is our lack of patience offensively. They played 2 safeties and Clemson still wanted to chuck the ball down the field and let our WR's play jump ball. Sometimes you have to take what the defense gives and we need to be willing to grind a long drive out..
I think everyone's starting to realize how much the loss of Hunter Renfrow has meant. He ran almost perfect routes, had great hands and could get separation. It made Watson and Lawrence jobs much easier on those 3rd and 5-12 yards know the Renfrow was like open to. We haven't developed a slot guy like that yet.
If you call that an excuse so be it.

You should. He also needs to be educated on the onside kick rule from my understanding.
You could probably explain to him the difference between the toss sweep and triple option. Wouldn’t tell him I was from Utah. Sound like an idiot and tell him you are from Enterprise. Better chance of getting in
