Has Wimp given any indication of his approval/disapproval of Nate? I haven't had a chance to see or hear him since the hire. I never got the feel that he was a big fan of the last 2 hires.

I don't think he's said it publicly how he feels on the hire, but how he's talked about him on the show and when he's interviewed him, he loves everything he says.
