It's because they all actually believe they're like part of the team or something.
Mostly it's because of that hot broad that beat up that Oklahoma frat-queer in that one game so now they all kinda fall in line with Sabana's P's and Q's because they're afraid they'll let Bear down (don't ask, it's it's whole own thread).
Basically they all sleep near to a picture of Bear and dream about what number they personally wear on the field. Can't be a good boarder and still be on the team.
