Yea but I still think Saban is cut from a different cloth. That and the fact that 70 is what 60 was a few decades back. In my opinion, we still have 7-10 seasons with Saban at the helm and I expect to be a top 5-8 team and competing for a title in every one of them. Call my optimism whatever you want, but that’s my genuine belief.

A few months back I thought Saban would be retiring within a few seasons, but several comments that have been made by Saban recently have led me to believe otherwise.

Hope he never retires. Will be senile in a couple years.

I guess weirder things have happened, but I don’t know if there’s much of a precedent for such a thing.
