Auburn is likely going to lose some games this year.

... but how many teams ranked below them would beat Auburn on a neutral field right now?

#9 Florida? The team that struggled to beat Miami in Orlando.

#10 Michigan? The team that nearly lost at home to Army.

#11 Utah? The team that led Northern Illinois by just 4 points in the 3rd Quarter last week

#12 Texas?

#13 Penn State? The team that trailed Buffalo at halftime last week

#14 Wisconsin?

#15 Oregon? A team Auburn already beat on a neutral field.

I know some might say Utah, Texas, and Wisconsin ought to be ranked higher, but none of those teams have a win that comes close to the calibur of Auburn's win over Oregon in Dallas.

At this point, Auburn is ranked right where they should be.... and the fact that Notre Dame is ranked ahead IMO is a bit unfair.

Yes, most all those teams are likely to finish ranked ahead of Auburn but that is more of a reflection of Auburn's Strength of Schedule compared to those other teams' rather than the quality of the team itself.

In terms of overall quality, Auburn is a Top 10 or Top 15 team this year, no doubt.
