Pitt wasn’t that bad. Went 8-5. Beat Penn State and Clemson. Won a bowl. Had Nathan Peterman and ACC player of the year James Conner on the team. All but one of their losses were less than 7 pts.

Actually Pitt finished the '16 regular season 8-4 & went on to lose their bowl game. But agreeing with your point - when healthy that Pitt team was capable of playing some reallt good football.
