If they would let the students get plastered attendance might bounce back some. Heck get crazy and allow the flags and colonel reb back since we’re a laughingstock and considered racist anyway might as well get weird while we can

If you bring the flags and colonel reb back then recruiting and attendance will stay the same or go down. You do know a LARGE portion of the student body is liberal right? They will bitch too much about a stupid mascot

I agree. Y'all should bring back Colonel Reb. I mean, anyone in the nation who sees a picture of him identifies with it being related to Ole Miss. And just like minorities don't give two shits about the state flag, I doubt they give a shite about the Rebel, bear, Landshark mascot since y'all are THE Rebels. Always will be. The majority of football players are black. I don't recall any of them having an issue with the Colonel. The State of MS didn't change their flag; I say take back your mascot. Everyone still calls y'all the Rebels, so screw it. This is a genuine request...I miss the Colonel. The respect y'all would get for refusing to change tradition (NOT history, they are NOT the same) would be a step forward.

I've often wondered that if you're doing something barely construed as racist and still being nailed to the wall for it, you may as well continue doing it or doing it on another level. I think that's always a good way to respond to PC pressure.
