Exactly! Satan err sabans loss to ULM his first season at bama wasn't that bad, nor UM's loss to App State. Until this game I didn't even know there was a Georgia State, and I lived in Georgia for 3 and a half years.

It doesn't change the fact that LSU hired a head coach who many felt didn't have the skins on the wall to get the job. It seems like the people who felt that way may end up being wrong.
At one point Saban was hired as a HC and there were more qualified candidates out there. Same goes for Dabo. Hopefully the same can be said about Orgeron soon, and those that loved the hire will be proven correct.
Why can't you just enjoy this success though?

It was a risky hire for sure. Nobody is happier than me that he's been better than expected so far.

The Vol fan was saying that Pruitt doesn't care about Tennessee losing because he's a Bama guy. I provided examples to show it's untrue and kind of stupid to believe a coach wouldn't care just because he's leading a rival school.

Mixed up with the Penn State-Joe Paterno- Jerry somebody mess. There is some evidence he was one of the assistant coaches that knew about something going on and did nothing. That is what half the state of TN protested.

I remember watching UF/Tennessee back in 1996. Used to be a war between those schools. Got tired of seeing those orange checkered end zones and hearing Rocky Top. Programs like UT, Nebraska, Colorado and Florida state have fallen quite a bit.

Why would an Athletic Director give a multi-million dollar contract to an assistant coach for a HC position.
There are many smaller universities who have HC with proven records.

I've never been much a Vol fan. One of my fondest moments is when their on-campus and online melt when Lane fricking Kiffen left for USC lololololol. This melt is pretty glorious too.
