There is no question who the best QB on the team is right now...

For most people anyways

The same thing was said about Treon Harris and Jeff Driskel.

The same majority was horribly wrong. Playing with second string vs. playing with first string changes the game completely. A bunch of players who come cold off of the bench usually don't do well playing against hot players who have been on the field for three quarters.

This is all conjecture, we have no idea what Trask or even Jones would do with first stringers until, well, they actually play with first stringers.

Our 2nd stringers would start for the team we just played

If Trask had over 20 games of starting, started his entire High School career and got all of the attention Franks has received -- from two staffs, mind you, I would be just as down in the dumps as Franks.

As it were, Trask is a 2* prospect who has never started a game and has never received the same amount of attention from the coaching staff as Franks.

And Franks did make that pass straight into triple coverage last week against Miami.

Imagine having all of those things going for you and still making the same mistakes as someone who didn't.

Stupid mook.

Must be reasons for everything said here. Guy is a life backup... = Not starter material.

Has anyone brought up that throw from Trask that was directly thrown to a defender?

Deftly defeated.

And a counterpoint:

That elite Miami defense you were pumping the entire week leading up to it got carved up by a true freshman Quarterback who either beat Franks in his numbers or replicated them -- all with less turnovers.

So let's talk about that.

Lets talk how your Kang with superior players threw the ball directly to the DB and how his only scoring drive was aided by Franks giving him the ball on the opponents 10 yard line

Trask doesn’t have much Starting experience because he’s not a starting QB

Our first punt was a Trask drive as well after that almost pick six. He also almost threw a pic on that TD slant that LB tripped a bit or he was in the path of the ball, I doubt Trask even saw him his head didn't turn directly stared down the receiver and threw when he broke off the corner. Was a strong throw though at least, he throws a lot of weaker passes and it hurts the short game. Look at the screens he threw. They had no zip on them...receivers weren't able to do much with them.

Yeah, what a terrible concept: Put evidence in place of your arguments.

No takers on how a true freshman beat Franks in every single passing statistic and ended with a better passer rating?

That's what I thought, frickboys.

You guys trash Trask like he's my guy, I'm just saying that Trask has had way less opportunities and that I'd like to see him with the first string to see what he can actually do.

We've seen Franks in the fire, and he's 100% cooked. He has to have everything going the right way for him to succeed.

No, its the fact that you take over an hour to bash a player on the team you claim to be a fan of when its not gonna change shite.

Ok, Franks is not Tom Brady, You cool now?
He’s still gonna start the rest of the season so can you stfu and get over it??

I mean hell, you complained that Perine was wide open on a play call that was designed to go to the TE and had he not tripped over his own feet it wouldve been a first down.
Watching the game right now, yes Perine was wide open, but knowing the play was going to the TE he never even looked back for the pass.

Nobody in here was a Treon fan but I also dont recall anyone going out of their way to comprise a post detailing why he shouldnt be out there.

We had to all sit n suffer knowing our bitching wasnt gonna do a damn thing so we may as well hoped for the best.

Saddle up, Franks is the starter, you may not like it but hes the best we have right now and Mullen isnt about to mail the season in to throw Jones out there when he has Franks healthy.

I mean, he compared himself to Tom Brady.

It's funny how triggered you guys get in a thread that you wanted to be dedicated to tearing Franks down. I've given you what you wanted, why are you bitching so hard to start double posting?

Sorry Sam Howell bent Franks over as a True Freshman, I wouldn't play Franks.
