This is now a plague of biblical proportions.

It's fricking unbelievable how many injuries we've had at LB since 2016. We're also dangerously thin at the position, and it boggles my mind that guys like Justin Flow and Nakobe Dean don't want to come here when they'd easily start from day 1, as opposed to sitting on the bench for a year or two.

Bad luck is bad luck. I guess everyone wants someone or something to blame, but sometimes shite just happens.

I for one am happy that O was extra cautious with our players during fall camp. The rant melted about it, but it was smart.

I'm not a Dylan Moses fan, but I do hope he recovers well and gets to play football again.

You're better off living in the shadow of Chernobyl than playing LB at Bama.

Steroids break your body down. Can’t say I’m surprised tbh.

LSU’ repeatedly has Oline and Dline injuries, with Alabama its linebackers. WTF is going on?

LSU and Bama should make a deal, let a few LBs from us enter the portal for transfer and OL from Bama enter the portal for even swaps. LOL

This is just a rough glance at the participation report, so I'm sure someone will correct me, but...

Counting the 12 regular season games that McMillon and Moses will each miss this year, Bama LBs have combined to miss 73 games due to injury since 2017.

Probably riding the ones left too hard. Moses probably got hurt by being the one the offense really focused everyone on with the others out and got hurt. But that's completely guessing.

This really sucks for Dylan. I am friends with the family and he is really a good guy. Hope he has a full and speedy recovery.

Seriously, I think many modern football players overtrain. Their bodies are toned and honed to the breaking point.

My muscles are so weak that they give out before any tendons or ligaments rupture. I’m just lucky that way. I don’t really train and I’ve managed to be the total package: small, but slow and weak to make up for my lack of size.

I woder if it’s the rubberized field, or some other unnatural surface that’s causing some of it.

I hate to see any athlete injured. Unfortunately injuries are part of sports and they can happen to anyone, at any time. It's the twist of fate.
Hopefully Moses makes a full recovery and pursue his dreams.

I don't think you can fault Saban although he screwed up twice while at LSU. In 2002 he left Matt Mauck in the game at QB too long when LSU had the Gator game comfortably in hand. It should have been mop up duty for the Marcus Randall.
Then in 2004 LSU's best playmaker, Skyler Green, and a had ankle sprain in the opener. Saban rushed him back to action too soon and he was really never the same player.

It's the Botch Jones effect. Laugh if you want but it's real.

Hell...the last couple of years at UT they've had to pull redshirts and play walkons to have enough on the OL...And had 6 that took medicals and retired in the past year and a half.
