Let me tell you a little story......

Just kidding, but in all seriousness, going to the SEC Championship and a bowl game will not dictate if this is a special season or not, that comes from the experience. If you win all your games or even most of them, it will be a great season.

In 1990, right before Steve Spurrier's 1st season at Florida, UF was put on probation and told we couldn't win the SEC or go to a bowl game. This was because of 2 infractions which occurred under the previous staff. They ended up going 9-2 and won the SEC. Tennessee was awarded the SEC championship because Florida was ineligible, but Spurrier ask for and got permission from the SEC to say UF was #1 in the SEC, even though we couldn't claim the championship. He has always given them credit for their accomplishments and probably talks about that team as much as any.

It was a great season and all Gator fans look back on it that way.

That said, I have no idea what those idiots at the NCAA will do, but don't let it tarnish your season one bit.
