Until this team proves they can finish a game, I say 5-7. Need one SEC win

I think the average right now is 5.5 wins predicted in this thread (I didn't check my work). History on the rant prediction threads say that we over predict by about 2 wins every season. If that trend holds up... yikes.

I think, at least I hope, that in past years we were way over confident. This year we might be pessimistic enough to actual be on target.
Though, as you say, if 5 wins is off by 2... It will get very ugly.

Im curious what the narrative will be if we go winless in conference again

If we go winless again, I'm not 100% certain that any narrative will save Chad.

we tiered his buyout so we wouldn't fire him after two years. we would owe over 12 million unless he falls off a motorcycle with the recruiting coordinator
donations may flow in though with a memo on the check for Chad's buyout if he goes winless though

5-7
4-0 OOC and then pick up one win against either OM, State or Mizzou.

Looks like the win avg for the board is less than 5.5 wins, interdasting.

6-6 overall for me, although I think the Kentucky loss and Missouri win could be flip-flopped as well. Our season could end up 5-7 or 7-5 if we win or lose both, which I also see equally possible.

Jumping in at the last minute. Seeing how putrid last year's QB1s are doing at FCS schools lets me know that it wasn't completely the OLines fault that QB play was garbage last year and gives me hope for this year.
6-6
6-6
