I think the BCS for the most part got it right. If we're being honest there were only what, 3 years out of 16 that there was a legitimate controversy over who got left out?

The fact is there are very, very rarely more than 2 truly elite teams in CFB and sometimes there's only one. We've seen that over and over again with the blowouts in the semifinals and it's only going to get worse when they expand the playoffs.

agree with all of this. 4 is perfect and it's really irritating that it's only a matter of time before we go to 8. That's going to really suck.

8 teams will ruin college football. 4 has already hurt it.

Yep. I mean for example this past season you would have to add UGA, OSU, and 2 of UCF/Washington/LSU/UF/Washington State. Does anyone really think any of those last few teams deserve a spot in the Playoff?*

*I know they would take the top 8 so that would mean that UCF and Michigan would be in, but I think if there was 8 spots then the rankings would have been arranged differently. It gets a little political after the top 4.

4 at most. Please.

I don't want CFB to be like the NFL. The NFL sucks.

If a team loses and early season game to a weak team and it knocks them out of the playoff eventually? Too bad. Don't lose to crappy teams. Every game should matter.
