All of that and LSU was still closer to winning in the end than Bama was. At least LSU's defense fought hard and kept it close with a garbage offense. It was only 9-0 at half (though 9 felt like 30) and it was only a two score game until under five minutes left in the game. Bama's best offense ever and their defense were both complete garbage. Clemson had 31 at half and it was 44-16 with 20 minutes left to play in the game. It was completely over at that point.

Truthfully, LSU's performance was laughable on offense and it was a completely pathetic showing in a title game, but given that they had 35 yards passing in the SEC title game, it wasn't that shocking. What Clemson did to Bama was completely shocking though. But I'm an LSU fan and the question wasn't for me, so I can't say which was worse. I only know that they both sucked balls.
