Statute reads from the violation not the entire eligibility of the player. So 3 of the 4 years Vadal played at LSU are outside the SOL. If there are no payments in that 1 year window the issue is likely moot.
There’s also the fact that Vadal’s father was an employee of OLOL and this scheme had nothing to do with his son’s status on the team.
I know both of those go against the hopes and wants on here, but they are facts

6 years on any campus will find something. The ncaa is run by liberal democrats so LSU should be fine.

Funes was running a money laundering scheme. He wrote checks to people he knew and they gave most of that money back to him.

NCAA used something that happened 20 years ago to hammer Ole Miss even more. Keep on thinking nothing will come of this.... That type of thinking worked out so well for us.

This was a scheme conducted by a booster to help himself, not the football team. If LSU gets in trouble, it will be for employing players parents. Not the money laundering.

They did? You mean it wasn't for stuff that happened under the watches of Reverends Houston Nutt and Hugh Freeze? Because I'm pretty sure that's why Ole Miss got hammered.
