The thing about that game was it took place when we, the United States, really needed something positive in our lives. Iran, the waiting in lines for gas, Jimmy Carter etc.... I mean the nation really needed something to bring us together. It was perfect

It was. The country REALLY was unified. Like you said, we’ll never see anything like that again.
